Squirrel's Wintery Surprise

Squirrel has worked long and hard to prepare for Winter.  The work is done, and now he gets to rest.  Or so he thought.  Squirrel makes a terrible discovery that requires one last effort to prepare for the long, cold, season.  Will he make it?

The entire 19 years I lived with my parents, I always watched my Dad go to work, come home, tend to things around the house, go to bed, and do it all over again the next day.  Some days were harder than others.  Some days were a breeze.  No matter what, Dad always did what was needed to take care of us.  Sometimes it meant being strong even when things were outside of his control.  I took his work ethic and stability and grafted them into the Squirrel.  While it's a whimsical story with adventure, perhaps you'll find it heartwarming as well!
